Cats are kinda like people, they may or may not like you, they don't attach to everyone, they are also useful because they keep pests away and catch mice, rats, bugs, etc. and can provide emotional comfort, you relax more with a cat around...

They're not energetic and lively like dogs are. Cats are depressing creatures tbh. I've always been a dog person. I'm already depressed, I don't need another rotter in my life...
