This is bad statistics because child rapists are overwhelmingly male so you can't say "white males are 30% of population" because the population is only half male compared to child rapists who are >90% male.

So it's 60% white males that comprise 72% of convicted male child rapists. It's an overrepresentation but not as major as you make it seem. And people who are not really white are included in that.
