Fear of vomiting

Anyone gotten surgery while having an irrational fear of nausea/vomiting? I need general anesthesia (the gas kind) to fix my misaligned eyes. Rationally I know this surgery will improve my quality of life from 0 to like 60. But irrationally I panic just thinking about what might happen

nothing will happen bud the doctor is gonna make you wear a mask and tell you to count down from 10 and then you will wake up later when its done unless your anesthesist is a retard and gave you the wrong dose which usually never happens

not likely i had a tonsil cutting surgery i woke up and was still very drowsy from the anesthesia and no i didnt puke

Yo i just went under general a week ago after they put the mask on and it starts working ull feel ur brain bubble with heat for a sec then ull wake up on a bed with the curtains shut dw if u vomiting u won’t remember it probably

I havent gotten surgery yet just a gastroscopy and getting my general health fixed before surgery in a couple months, but i woke up relaxed asf like i acc felt mentally normal for once without any mental negativity weirdly. It was a weird experience i acc turned nt
