Feeling lonely

I have no close friends in real life , I feel envious whenever I see my school friends posting themselves hanging out on Instagram stories. Sure I do have friends in school but none of them are close to me or whatsoever, we rarely talk outside of school. I hope things will be better when I get into college, meeting new people and most importantly having close friends. Any advice would be appreciated . @Bizygomatic @psltristan1

Same, I have one but he mogs me to death. He's in a different city now so I can't even meet him.

I hope things will be better when I get into college, meeting new people and most importantly having close friends.

I hope the same thing. Hope is not the right word. I'll ensure it is this. I have 2 years before I go to college.

I think before starting college, dedicate time to self-improvement. Start going to the gym. Building a good physique will help with social dynamics, men tend to respect fit peers more. The confidence you gain from seeing physical progress will naturally make you more extroverted and comfortable talking to people.

Practice socializing now: Try talking to new people whenever possible. You'll meet tons of new people in college, so getting comfortable with approaching and talking to strangers now will give you a huge advantage when you arrive on campus.

Also, as cringe as it sounds, spend time with your family and friends, you'll see them exponentially less later.

try to get atleast 1 close friend but it usually takes a couple years
