Felt like I was losing it last night

Hard to describe the feeling, but I felt half asleep but couldn't fall to sleep entirely, then it felt like the room was shaking and some unreasonably anxious/worried feeling hit me that I couldn't explain. I usually imagine someone is there but I couldn't do it last night, also weirdly at the same time I felt like all attraction I had to anyone disappeared, but it felt really terrible for some reason. I think I saw some light flash from the outside of my door that wasn't actually there while sort of fading into sleep and immediately back out.

Very hard to explain, but I felt like I was going nuts for a bit of time there.
But I felt like I was about to lose it, and everything that was happening for some reason was never going to end...
