I am from a tier 1 university. The companies come to my uni itself looking for interns I applied to the ones that I feel I could clear. Cleared an online screening test to get short listed for a coding round and then finally an HR round and bagged the internship after an interview.

Gotcha, my uni has a “career fair” also so to speak. Will make sure to attend

I'd suggest solving leetcode questions and strengthening your knowledge on data structured and data base management. A few great projects and work experience also helps. The competition is fierce

How do I get better at speaking to a camera

PWC rejected me at the interview stages . I tried practicing it doesn’t work

My major isn’t nearly as competitive , but my uni requires an internship before I graduate, hence the pressure I’m feeling.

Cant help you there man. My interview was in person. I have attended a few video interviews but I did them on my laptop's webcam from my room so I didnt feel intimidated at all.

You mean the bachelor thesis or internship right? Most majors give you an option between an internship or a project/thesis
