But once you think about what really makes life good, it is social connection. And I've felt like slavic countries are far more warm than western countries, atleast in Europe (never visited USA).

Go to western-europe: the netherlands, norway, sweden, denmark, germany. People are cold as fuck.

In southern-europe, people are warmer socially. But same is also true for eastern-europe/balkans. People have far more social temperaments there. Less cuthroat, competitive, cold, anti-social, etc.
