So I got defrosted/thawed raw colostrum. To avoid bacteria overgrowth and nutritional loss I can't refrost it nor heat/pasteurize it.
And it's generally recommended to keep it no more than 24-48 hours in the refrigerator.
But the amount is too much for me to drink it in such short time so I decided to ferment it and make kefir potentially extending it's shelf life to 1-2 weeks.
But I didn't saw anyone talking about the storage of raw milk/colostrum before.
Did anyone had the same issue, tried different approaches..?
