i crushed and have broken my ring finger and knuckle today which is unfortunately quite suboptimal as it’s not only my dominant hand, but my favourite one at that too. i thought my day couldn’t get worse, however, when i was brought into the room to review my xray results with orthopaedic specialist (which is where i found out it was broken) i was pleasantly surprised to find out that my growthplates are still significantly open. anyways, i have to go in to the hospital in the morning for more reviews and potential surgery. i have been instructed not to eat past 4am as this can affect the anaesthetic in a potential surgery scenario. the finger fingers are currently in a splint and going numb which is more than likely problematic. atleast if i get surgery it can prepare me for potential hardmaxxes in the future.
