Your ancestors probably had to survive and preserve the bloodline by fighting dirty unless you are from a family of wide framed and strong giants

So why shouldn’t you?

No point doing a “clean” fight if someone way bigger than you attacks you or tries to bully you.

Do you think you are significantly stronger than average or still weak like your ancestors most likely were

Yeah I always have a pocket knife. Maybe I'm too paranoid but I rather have something that at least makes the other one feel pressure

Before I graduated school they told us that most knife crimes come from the other persons knife being used against them so idk

Why fight at all. We aren't in caveman times anymore

If some lunatic attacks you unprovoked tho then ya by all means fight dirty if needed

I know how to handle a knife the size of mine. It's not a bayonet or kitchen knife and I've trained martial arts on and off for years. Thing is most people just throw hands literally. I don't mean it like I'm gonna use it but if you see a knife you run, just like I do, but there's people that need to see a knife to run. If they pull up I'll let you know I'm an endurance athlete, we can go 🤣

Not necessarily obvious. A lot of dudes try to pick fights just to prove that they're macho. It's really just a cope for being subhuman

Do what your ancestors would have done and even the odds
There are no rules in a fight.

That being said schoolyard scraps have come a long way from fighting to the death over a more coveted seat by the nightly campfire.

Most important thing I'd say is never let the other boy take the first punch.

I almost lost one in 9th grade over that bullshit. Squared up with a bad boy in an abandoned corridor and I got rocked out of nowhere. Didn't even see it coming because I ignored body language and my own instincts, for fear of getting in fucking trouble about it at home if it came out that I hit him first. Fuck that shit though. And I never let it happen again.

If someone even squares up against you, you need to take it no differently than if they've already punched you in the face and start firing on them immediately. Do not immediately stop swinging if you get them on the ground. Hit them about two more times for good measure.

Good advice.

I’ve been in only 2 fights and both times I just started swinging before they could out of instinct/fear

One I won and the other was stopped.

Both happened before I graduated school lol

Also if you can't run lateral fast kicks to the knee, frontal. Not many people will catch ur legs especially untrained. I think the issue is that a lot of people see fight training as a hobby because "modern societies blabla" but it's an actual skill like knowing how to correctly handle injuries and so on.

Also martial arts/fighting training is so fun. Always met cool people and helps with confidence and appeal

protect your head at all costs. Even a simple street fight can make you paralyzed if your head is hit hard enough

Sadly though in adult life you're gonna have to let them swing first in many situations, if you live in America at least.

I had to punch a girl in the face first and then take a hit from the dude she was with one time before I could fight him. Him and I were already squared up, standing between our trucks in a parking lot and the mouthy bitch he was with just came at me from the side swinging like a windmill. The dude didn't want to hit me first either, and I would probably have had bad consequences if I just rocked him at that point. Neither of them expected me to hit her lol, and she just kept landing blows to my face so I fucking punched her in the eye as mean and hard as I could. It left an opening though for him to hit me at that point and that's what he did. It took me to the ground.

My wife holding our 3 month old baby was standing somewhere to the other side of us outside my peripherals yelling for us to stop and I was so afraid to put up much of a defense from his direction. I didn't know exactly how my wife would react in that situation and my boy's soft head was all I could think about.

Anyways the guy pummeled my head with his fists a few times when I was on the ground, but it was on the thickest part and I quickly dragged him down then perched in a squatting position over top of him. It was late November with slush on the ground and I was wearing flip flops and socks lol. I beat his forehead and face with my fist two times before getting interrupted, even though he could see me focusing on his throat with a look of dread in his eyes I stayed my fist. The licks on his head weren't the most satisfying but at least I got them off before some random uninvolved man tacked me off him and cracked one of my ribs.

You know, these stupid laws make things so much worse. You cannot always hit a man first in American adult life, even if you're both squared up to fight. Only in USA can you have your fucking life ruined over taking care of practical business.

I was really fixing to do bad if that man hadn't tackled me and I'm so lucky he did. After messing the guy up I was going to go teach the girl a lesson she'd never forget. And her dad, I'm assuming, did come out of the supermarket right after everything was over. Looked like the type to be toting and I would have either been shot dead or ended up with at least 5 years of legal trouble before being able to leave the country again.

These kids were both in the early to mid 20's, so don't think I was out there beating on youths.

Anyways, in an ideal world I would have been able to beat the man down the moment he stepped out of the passenger seat of his vehicle with intent. I had just come back to the USA after spending a decade in the developing and 3rd world and was livid with the society I'd stepping back into.

I wanted to severely beat the girl after dealing with the dude because of the gynocentrism and Americans' proclivity to not mind their fucking business. Lesson learned though. I've matured since then. I've since gotten used to life here and we're about to leave again. Won't raise my kid here.

Since being married I've had a few close calls in front of my wife but she's never seen me fight before then. I made sure she understood to never get out of the truck or come near me again that situation. And to shut her mouth because we're going to fight. At that point there's NOTHING she can say or do to stop us, so if she doesn't want me to lose stay back and keep quiet.

Absolutely right. I was never trained but am naturally good. Never fought someone who was trained fortunately. Maybe kicked a couple guys assess who wrestled a couple years in highschool but that's about it.

But yeah, what you're saying is exactly why I'm teaching my boy how to properly punch with proper foot positioning now. He's only 4.

I think I'll have him do Sambo through for at least 3 years of his adolescence. During highschool age though two years of focusing on competitive aspect of wrestling, and two years spent focusing on the technical aspects of Muay Thai will be absolutely mandatory.

Muay Thai is probably the best because of what you were saying about the low kick. It's why studying it is way more practical for actual fighting than boxing, which is still excellent itself.

That's so good. My parents put me into taekwondo early and I really thank them from that even if I remember it being a chore sometimes 😊 I eventually trained a bit of bjj but I did k1 the most. Grappling is ass

How did it even start? Also yeah that’s crazy pressure you had at that point which I hope to never have to experience. The most I have had was just being scared of getting beaten up by a group of people if I hit one guy.

I was scolding my wife for getting milk inside the store as I loaded up the car. We still had a few places to go and the milk would have spoiled.

My wife's from China and milk doesn't need to be refrigerated there. She was a FOB back then. Anyways this mouthy little bitch in a truck parked 2 spots over tried to get involved and I just said "FUCK YOU CUNT!" She tried yelling back to me but I saw a dude sitting in front of her so I ignored her and started mad dogging him. I'm not gonna argue with a fucking woman. He told me, "If I get out of this truck you're done." And with that I threw my coat and glasses into my open car and go over to his door. He stepped out and we squared up.
