I'm thinking about doing fighting sports.:feelswat: which is best

Which ever u will have the most fun doing and that you will show up consistently for. If wrestling is available to you, definately do that. Most people who do martial arts sports wish they did wrestling when it was offered to them and regret not doing it. If you dont, do a grappling art and a striking art, but one at a time. For example do a year of judo, do some begginer competitions, then do a year of mauy thai and do some points competition. After you get some experience you can just do whatever art you like best long term. Thats what most people who are really good at a particular art do. They pick one and eventually put all their stock in that. But if its about self defense, train peroids of both before you chose one to put all your time into. Most people end up settling on a grappling art because its better for your brain long term. If you wanna do striking long term thats cool too, just be aware of the risks. Good luck

Id say do judo if you dont have a wrestling oppertunity. You may not even want to add a striking art and just do that long term. Im just thinking in terms of self defense, but if you get really good at judo you will already be in a much better spot self defense wise than before you trained it.
