Basically any other type of depressant shuts off your unconscious mind, responsible for things like motor coordination and inhibitions, etc, while benzodiazepines quiet down your conscious mind, the overarching background dialogue that makes up your frontal lobe

It’s an irreplaceable feeling if you’re higher iq and your instinctual subconscious doesn’t make up your entire being

You probably have anxiety, in many people benzos don't do really much if they aren't stressed, but in anxious people going to calm and relaxed, from feeling stressed and nervous can be almost euphoric.

It’s like an overactive chattering. Only silenced by GABA analogues and (in my case at least) anticholinergics

It's supposed to be the most euphoric benzo, almost like alcohol in a pill.
It just makes me very sleepy and calm, like a sedative

I prefer cheap whiskey :forcedsmile:
