FINALLY getting LEFORT after years of inceldom

I am finally considered a candidate for le fort 1 surgery after suffering from my underbite + crooked teeth for years. I blame this for my inceldom because it has ruined my self-image and how I look. I will wear braces first before surgerymaxxing so everything goes as planned. Will this ascend me or am I just coping??

as long as there is malocclusion and maxillomandibular retrusion, yes orthodontics + orthognathic surgery will ascend, it just depends on the level of underbite you have.

Yes but since a lot of surgeons in the US are focused on occlusion rather than aesthetics, they could end up giving you a non significant movement.

A lot of them are scared to overadvance since they arent very aesthetics based

Well I live in south of europe so it´s not the same over here. They seem quite blackpilled in the way they didn´t want to touch my lower jaw, so I can keep my masculine features.

Thats not how a bimax works I think. Usually they will move the mandible to harmonize with the maxilla since its probably hard to get a good movement and keep proper occlusion.

And what masculine features are lower jaw related that would be ruined via BSSO?

Well, they said they could move my lower jaw backwards to align with my maxilla, but then I would just become super recessed so they have decided to move my upper jaw only.

Exactly so they will move the maxilla forward but most likely the lower mandible wont align with the maxilla perfectly, which is why we have a bsso

You have to be careful a lot of these surgeons are salesmen and they know that people dont really understand bone structure so they will do nonsignificant movements and only worry about occlusion. When creating an aesthetic face there are a lot of variables to take into place but these normie surgeons dont know what they're doing most of the time.
