86 kgs 190 lbs finally. I see my abs for the first time in years. Maintained a decent amount of strength too. My end goal is 82-83 kgs. I did it all without any stimulants also. God speed

dyel means do you even lift and being dyel means you dont look like you lift
Way better it builds strength while it doesn’t really take ur body out of its natural proportions

no amount of lifting will take your body out of its natural proportions, this is just cope, training for a specific look doesnt work

you dont get physiques like these from calisthenics, you’ll just end up being skinny as fuck and lacking shape

As long as the weight is enough to cause stimulus and make you grow, it doesn’t matter if it’s your own body or some pieces of metal - or a combination of both.

You have to be putting up some very decent numbers to outgrow calisthenics for upper body. Lower body does lack, but the “aesthetic” physique we all want is not lower body dominant.

i say calisthenics is dyel because it has limitations, if youre doing weighted pullups thats no longer calisthenics, you cant effectively train the side delt with calisthenics, or the rear delt, or much of anything else, you’ll always be limiting yourself for a physique that isn’t worth the time youre putting in

My main problem with calisthenics is that I'm not flexible enough for a lot of the movement. Like sure I can do pull-ups and chin ups by any of those weird movements put a lot of pressure on my joints which is uncomfortable. Weights don't that to me

Up from 65 kg @Debetro

In a post from 2020 you said you were 65 kg. You then gained 40 kg
That was 5 years ago retard. I've already said this a hundred times I gained a ton of weight last year when I was rotting , giving interviews. I always know when you react to my thread you'll have something passive aggressive to say.

That’s true. I do a mix of calisthenics and relatively light dumbell work to hit the muscles you mentioned and I’ll add weight to my pull ups eventually. It’s not pure calisthenics but it’s much closer to that than to real weight lifting.

The biggest difference for me is that the space requirements here are just a couple of adjustable dumbells under my bed and a bar screwed to the doorframe.

I used to have a 7 foot bar, 150kg of weights, power cage, bench and so on. It took up so much room and really the only things it let me train harder than I can with calisthenics now are squats and deadlifts which I do not care about.

It’s worth working on. Will literally save you some pain in the long term. I do a 5 minute stretching routine after each workout and I’ve noticed a lot of improvement.

From 65 to 100+ is impressive

what is your definition of “jacked”? just being lean
having no size means you have no physical presence
Jacked is being jacked like this
