Finance - Any Higher Position in Banks/Insurance or just IB/PE

CS/CE - Specialized Software or Hardware Engineering, Technical Sales, Patent Attorney, Hedgefunds

Medicine - specialized self-employed doctor or dentist, daily female interaction, probably highest net income left after cost of living if in rural areas

I wouldn't advice medicine all my family are doctors and they all are depressed fucks.
It takes a long time to finish and has a shit ton of work hours that you will probably get cucked by your wife.
Of course if you like being a doctor this changes things plus your will have infinite reputation.

CS if you want to start making money in your early 20s, Medicine if you want a secure career with good growth opportunities, and idk about finance

CS/CE mogs with money straight out of school, but nobody has a soul after staring at code for 10 hours a day. Downside is nobody finds it as a sexy occupation. There's a reason you've never seen a porno about a sexy comp sci guy.

Certain medical jobs are very low-stress and well-paying. Tons of fertile nurses. Medical jobs tend to come with a higher status, see "muh healthcare heroes". Just don't get stuck cleaning boomer's bedpans for a living. Stick to radiation tech jobs.

Finance is the highest stress but the highest potential to moneymaxx. Downside is nobody will care about a single story from your work because it's super boring to almost everyone.

CS/CE is the most stereotyped and cuck profession.
Medicine is the most ideal since you can save lives and you're paid the most in it.
Finance is something that I would choose out of all the three options. It's a chad profession.

finance is a simple major in terms of course work, to be successful either go to a really good school or be Chad. Simple.

CS is the only option and it requires alot of intellectual capability+its a shitty life doing it imo

Definitely helps for Finance, however in the EU there isn't really elite unis

I agree, doctors get cheated on and divorce raped all the time. Good for status, but takes up so much of your time that all your other attributes go to shit. The money isn’t even that great when you consider the debt and massive insurance costs.

Ideally you want to cut out the middle man and be as close to a pure cash flow as you can without having to do the cuck slave labor. Out of those, I would go with finance.

bruh you been binging too many movies, my dude. If I was looking to hire and two guys applied one good looking guy and the other not good looking but who knew what the fuck he was doing, I'd hire the second guy 200% and you would too. IRL its all about money and knowledge, being GL can only get you so far unless its sales or some heavy face to face type field.

I notice you've asked this a lot, the best advice is to do something you enjoy - if you're limiting yourself to just these 3 options you'll succeed either way (financially speaking).

To answer your question though, medicine or tech (though idk about tech if you're not in north america).

I’m surprised you underestimate the power of lookism. A 5’7, highly trained, highly knowledgeable recruit vs a 6’2 guy with lesser skills, who gets in? You and I both know it will be the latter, we don’t live in a just world bro, it is what it is.

Assess your iq level and pick accordingly

Above average iq: Finance

High iq: Medicine

Very high iq: Computer Science

Medicine is interesting but if I could go back I would pick something else

-pay gets overhyped for how much the degree costs + the time you put in during degree and after graduation; yeah you can specialise but that’s additional years, costs and can be EXTREMELY competitive depending on the specialty + country

-unless youre a fast learner studying can be such a time sink (i never watch any lectures jfl, yet I’ve managed to comfortably pass every exam by pulling all nighters. On the flip side I know plenty of people in my cohort who HAVE to consistently put in a couple of hours studying a day to get by)

-lifestyle will be terrible if you cannot manage your time between maintaining your health/grades/social life/hobbies/relationship, compromising is almost inevitable

-depending on ur personality you may get raped by teaching staff during clinical teaching (bullying is a pre legit issue)

CS CE then can branch out. Get some real STEM training. You don't have to be a code monkey.

Finance recruits from STEM. If you have brains you can teach yourself finance. The actual rigorous background will help tremendously with jobs and your own projects

If the doddering edifice of capitalism falls, you will still have useful abilities when the Celestial Empire surges ahead

Medicine has a very bad future unless you are cutting edge biotech. Though if you go to China you may still be useful, assuming your education isn't completely overtaken by wokeness

This guy is a meme, my opinion on his points if anyone wants to read, in summation what he says is kinda true for FAANG (except netflix tbh), those companies have giga toxic work cultures, overwork you etc. you're better off taking a little less pay at a medium size company most normies haven't heard of.

1. "You will be treated like dirty animals"
Completely dependent on where you work, I've experienced both sides (being treated shit/overworked + being treated well)

2. "His tirade on codebase"
100% true

3. "Coworkers will be trash"
Completely dependent where you work, 100% right on there being some people being arrogant as fuck as well as cocky interns.

Utter cope from him saying he is a genius coder and criticizing others, you can see his arrogance here.

4. "Trash managers"
Completely dependent, maybe I am spoiled by having managers who had technical/engineering backgrounds.

5. "Relationships"
This guys wife left him and took their kid so he is extremely bitter just fyi, you see his arrogance once again. It's not his job that makes him undesirable.

7. app/startup
Only by zoomers who are still in school

This dude is hilariously bitter, love how he shills his program at the end.

dude do you take everything literally? he is always acting super arrogant, like he always puts ex google tech lead and that he is a millionaire in almost every sentence. (he is doing it in a sarcastic way to get away with it, but he's actually serious imo) Nevertheless he is a funny character

It doesn't compete, if you're mediocre/bad at it or don't have the capability of learning things fast. Yes, there is an oversupply, but most of the oversupply is easy, but tedious "grunt" work. A good programmer/consultant/architect is worth their weight in gold, but you have to be high iq/really smart and be able to learn things fast. There will always be super high paying positions for qualified/knowledgeable experts.
Idk why you would think it doesn't compete, if you can stomach long/hard education, your hours spent would go waaay further in cs than medicine, if were talking about monetary gain, not to mention the possibilities of side hustles/making your own product because you know how to program/build electronics. Of course, Just Uni will be useless, you have to be genuinely interested and like doing it, thats the caveat, if you don't like tech, you are gonna be miserable.

if you still think about software engineering watch this jfl

Going point by point here:
1) REALLY dependant on your workspace, bigger companies have started hiring hot chicks who are average at best just to fill diversity quotas, but it can be fun. If youre in a purely performance focused environment, then yeah, its only gonna be be weird, but super smart dudes. I don't really care about that, I don't shit where I eat and I'd rather spend my work day with smart bros and I get paid enough to not care who I interact with.
2) Yeah, you do have kind of the janitor role usually, you clean up other peoples mess which is holding on by strings and you have to take responsibility for it. If you are super against that, then go to new development projects where you build things from scratch, but this is harder.
3) Haven't had trash co-workers, but my experience is in Europe not in the US, idk if that changes anything. Yeah, there are weird companies with diverity quotas n shit, but then find smaller/less PC companies, google and FB are not examples of non PC companies
4) All my managers have been highly qualified/waaay more experienced than me.
5) Sure, people don't care about coding or don't want to hear about it, but jfl have other hobbies, your personal relationships are gonna be trash if all you do is code.
6) This guy forgot to say nr 6 jfl. "I don't date techies" You all know the answer to this riddle, if you don't and have been on this forum for more than 3 hours, you're a lost cause.
7) This is really not a con. Have some self respect jfl.
8) Very true, if you only do uni and don't do any personal projects/learn by yourself, then you will be useless in the job market. Uni is just for sharpening your mind and making connections and getting a diploma, nothing more, you generally won't learn job market skills there. Also JFL at the shameless ad.

yeah, cs is a shit field, avoid it 100%, full of stress working 15-16 hours a day etc. no freedom as well, always micromanaged, impossible to just leave in the middle of the day for several hours or have days where you just want to work from home, lots of pajeets and zhangs too looking to steal your job (oh no!) etc.

do you have any idea about data science?

I'm studying physics and I'm trying to somehow get a job somewhere and DS sounds fun, but it seems to be incredibly competitive.
