i literally just resumed oral fin last night and within a couple hours dht itch was gone, there was 90% less hair on my pillow (5-10 hair strands vs 1) this morning and 90% less shedding in the shower (20ish hair vs 2-3). my hair also "feels" a lot tougher and more resilient to pull tests.

JFL at normies saying you need months for fin to work. months for noticeable regrowth to the naked eye perhaps, or these normies are norwood 5/6 and expecting to get back to norwood 1 after a month or fin

Yeah when I started it I started getting sides like the next day thank god they went away and im not a mentalcel pfscel but hair comes in cycles its not gonna work faster than your hair cycle cuz hair has to strengthen from miniaturized to stronger each cycle which takes months once you block dht for it to get healthy again (im coping cuz ive been on for 2 months and getting worse)

Also I need you to understand what Im saying what I mean is you can block dht instantly but just because that factor is removed doesnt mean the hair will instantly reverse back to healthy you have to wait for it to get thicker and thicker it gets a little better each time it goes through anagen yk

yes it works overnight, you are castrated by the time you wake in the morning

I just hope fin wont keep me a chincel recessed jaw cel if I otherwise could develop a jaw through my development yk cause people say dht doesnt matter for bones but other people says it does (which theyre usually raw milk tiktok enjoyers so I laugh at them) but I really dont know I try looking at the chevedoces from dominica but its a wash on whether their face masculized so its brutal I have to choose between being norwood 2 at 17 or risking stunting my face bones that would absolutely fuck me cause my face is already small and babyfaced

i do notice lower erection quality in the morning tbh but its less of an impact than when i did fin the first time so hoping sides improve and my body adjusts over time

Are you black

yeah retard you dont regrow hair that quick that takes months, but active miniaturization stops basically immediately

But my hairline is getting destroyed
cope with minox, youre trading off bone development and dimorphism development from age 17-20 for slightly better hair vs doing fin 2 years later

How do you know dht does anything for bone dimorphism please lmk cause I cant find anything for it I heard type 2 dht isnt importnat for bones

how does minox reduce bones

You have 100,000 hair follicles. Of course it takes time to see regrowth. Hair loss prevention starts within hours of taking the drug though. I noticed something similar.

Doesn’t do shit for bones you utter retard.

Even on Dutasteride which inhibits type 1 also which is present in bone tissue, you don’t even have enough DHT in your body for it to grow fucking bones JFL.

Just use the topical

Tranny propaganda. Nice try joo

I think there’s still a high risk systemic absorption.

He should stall hair loss with minoxidil for a year then hop on fin at 18.

There is an effect, but it's significantly reduced compared to oral.

Personally, Minoxidil didn’t do anything for me except cause irritation.
If his hair loss isn’t too aggressive, it might help slow things down for a year sure, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to be on 5ar inhibitors even during late puberty.

Minoxidil for a year will at worst slow it down provided he is a responder. If not he can use trenitoin.

ive tried topical, still similar sides. going back to oral for convenience and cuz i don't want to apply topical asymmetrically or have crown balding later on cuz i didn't apply topical to all the relevant areas

This is what I’ve heard. Oral is obviously easier to use and more effective.

Maybe, it will differ by individual. I don’t believe someone his age would loose out on dimorphism significantly by using a low dose- topical, which if I remember correctly, only reduces the DHT transformation by around 20-30% at most.

So, if he’s unsure, in the meantime, he can go for blood therapy (although, it’s greatly overpriced for minimal results) or oral minoxidil.

That’s true, I tried both, but with the oral one, I experienced loss of libido, even half a year after stoppage.

Why take the risk though by holding off on treatment for a year? He’s NW2, not going full Dr Phil.

Oral minoxidil has it’s on risks.

Topical works really well for most people and if his hair loss is concentrated in the temples then application is not much of an issue.

I have no idea, where he’s at in terms of hair loss, but if it’s aggressive like mine was- topical Minoxidil won’t be enough to stop it, even for a year.
It doesn’t address the root cause, so he’ll likely keep receding.
Personally, I’d much rather have a full head of hair and a strong hairline than potentially experience a very marginal increase in dimorphism.
So, it depends on his individual case.

topical does give you slightly lower serum dht but my thinking is you will get sides regardless if serum dht is nuked by 70% or 65%. i do get slightly better erection quality (80% of baseline vs 60% on oral) on topical fin but both gives me gyno and high E2.

There are personal trade-offs.
I’m not saying don’t take 5ar drugs.
Just wait until the tail end of puberty to avoid any risk of comprising anything.

Minoxidil has high efficacy for most people and would just buy time until he takes meds to deal with the androgen side of the equation.
