It says complaints so it’s based off of subjective self based analysis, which can vary significantly among different people. I’d still err on the side that it does affect development as those with 5-ar deficiency don’t develop penises the same as those without the it.

DHT is produced also peripherally i.e in skin. Oral Finasteride in low dose has it more difficult to reach that. Although as someone said, subjective at best. It could be affecting but i am aware not all production is shut down. Being the reason why it cant always stop hairloss

It will if you are young you will have your dick stunted during puberty your dick expresses high androgen receptor affinity for DHT up till around the end of puberty (lateish teens) after that they shut down. Also DHT develops the seminal tubes in early puberty like 12-15z

If you take DHT inhibitors while you penis is still maturing you will stunt it’s growth, after that however affinity is really only expressed in the prostate and body hair that’s when it’s safe to use

If you are under 18 I’d say wait to be safe. Looking at the study I can’t find any penile measurements nor a control group so it’s not really useful it seems to just be self reported. We do have data on boys who are 5 ar deficient and they do not develop normal penises through puberty.

I'm 19 almost 20, will start at like 22 unless I notice some clear balding around like 21
