I know this is a cope post, but I'm starting to find solace with being an undatable male. I don't have to put effort into increasing my social status, knowing that no amount of charisma, social skills, and likeability will compensate for my physical traits. I don't have to overthink social relationships, as I would if I had been a neurotypical Chad with plenty of friends. Instead, I can find my few close friends I can connect with. I don't have to worry about making enemies along the way because I will interact with only those close friends.
To those thinking that this is my give-up post, it simply isn't. For the next five to six years or so before my surgeries, I'm living a simple introverted life focusing on long-term softmaxxing, talking to the few friends I'll make along the way, and excelling at the hobbies I take an interest in.
I'm writing this post to demonstrate that all is not bad about being an undatable male. Yes, I admit it is coping, but we must cope as undatable men to find meaning in this brutal life. Living a simple life without being in trouble with the public eye keeps me going for the next five to six years. So, find your purpose to continue your existence. That is even if it is the smallest cope or a sliver of hope.
