No, actually you will probably have less acne when on them

depends, u could get gyno if ur more prone to it as dht is downstream anti estrogenic, but outside of that neurosteroid depletion, maybe erection quality changes, or maybe not, depends person to person.

This was more on the mental side, but I've had massive brain fog, DP/DR, depression and suicidal tendencies when I tried finasteride for 5 months (it might be that I'm just a bad responder). I'm personally going to see if a hair system can work for me; and if not I'll try finasteride again despite the risks and get a hair transplant in 2027-2028. For now I'm still using minoxidil anyways.

On the physical side, I've heard that minoxidil is quite bad for your skin, but I've personally haven't had many issues with that.

well topical or oral minox is a start, and then low dose dut eod and see how u feel, if nipples get sensitive then u might need to drop the dut or take low dose nolvadex/ai. topical dut/fina would also work, but depends on the formulation ( bioavailability issue)

Minoxidil is for growing/thickening the already existing folliciles. Finasteride is to block DHT which causes your hair to fall out.

Finasteride is generally weaker, whereas dutasteride blocks more DHT. I personally haven't used dutasteride though, so I can't speak on it.

And most have benefits from it, however percentage is lower then the percentage who don’t have side effects, so at the very least less probably to have side effects, even if it does nothing, which is little likely in most cases,

well there are technically sides but its a very low probability like i started 1 month ago exactly and i have seen nothing so far. most of the devleopment that DHT does happens before 17.5. the sides are usually ED and even rarer would be something like neurosteroid changes

no it will still grow, but u will keep losing ground because minoxidil is a vasodilator and finasteride is a 5ar inhibitor so 5ar is what causes hairloss and minoxidil is what causes regrowth and thickness but finasteride is what blocks dht which in turn stops hairloss. so minoxidil will still grow your hair and slow down the process of hair loss but you will still lose ground unless u take finasteride
