I tried palmitate before and saw what I considered decent results. I have however read up on other retinoids now which are supposedly better! The one I'm getting today is the retinoid retinol in the form of this particular product:
0 2

SQUALANE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL, RETINOL, SOLANUM LYCOPERSICUM (TOMATO) FRUIT EXTRACT, ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT, HYDROXYMETHOXYPHENYL DECANONE, BHT

I plan to take it every night before bed. Do you agree that that is a good idea? Can all retinoids be applied daily? Should you take breaks and can you get a tolerance? These are questions I have in regards to the usage of these products.

(I know tretinoin is the best retinoid and I plan to get that soon. I just have to get the prescription. Special thanks to @sebsyx for providing a source!)

Idt that would be necessary as I found a Nordic source. Unless you think the Indian variety would be that of a higher quality?

Im thinking everyday is probably OK because I'm starting with the weakest concentration (0.2%). I'll also be applying it to slightly moist skin for better absorption.

Perhaps you are too young to bother, but what does our prolific femboymaxxer have to say about use of retinoids? @Nasi Lemak

Do you think indian tret is superior to other varieties or was that just a matter of convince?
convenience mostly. can't get a prescription. so far its not been very spectacular. but ordinary is a good brand

Just eat liver sheesh

Do I need to use anything in addition to the retinol, such as moisturizer? I usually just use fash wash and moisturizer in the morning. Sometimes an almond oil as well as an occasional facemask.

I heard that you're supposed to store it in the refrigerator, but isn't fridge a humid environment?

Why do some people say it takes months to notice results? I literally see a difference the next day after applying it.

Should I put it under my eyes too?

retinol works just fine most people have don't have the attention span to apply it daily for months, it takes way longer to see the effects.

I guess I better get sunscreen too. What's the deal with that? The stronger the better? Is it the same type of sunscreen that you put on your body or are there specific sunscreens that you use for face? Sorry I'm lost.

@Arborist
50 spf, there's sunscreens specifically for the face that contain some useful active ingredients like niacinamide, they cost more than the sunscreens for your body but a small tube lasts pretty long if you apply it only to your face.
