recovery is about the same as any surgery on the face tbh, they cut a long scar behind the ears so it takes time to heal and for swelling to be removed

you dont "need" it you have already crossed the threshold for women to not reject you for your looks,

but after getting your ears pinned and going for a shorter hairstyle you would be considered by these guys a psl chadlite

also the effect big ears have on your face is underrated it makes your whole face look narrow look at any ear pinning result on google it changes their whole look

my jaw and face look way wider now

you wont need earlobe reduction cause your ears will be pinned wayy back and it wont be visible at all
