TIMEFRAME:
I went into this expecting to be done in 30 minutes, but I was totally wrong. It took me around 25 minutes to prefill 32 insulin syringes, 10 to draw my grid (shit was horrible), and ~2 hours to inject.
JFL.
MAPPING:
16 points per cheek, 4x4 grid with points spaced ~1 cm apart.
INJECTION TECHNIQUE:
90-degree angle with pinch, NO lidocaine, as I wanted to make sure I wasn't hitting anything.
PAIN:
3/10, ended up taking 3-4 tries per point trying to find a "perfect" position to inject (until there was no sharp pain). The burning itself was minimal; most pain was sharp and simply required readjustment.
THINGS TO FIX/MISTAKES:
1) I had used a waterline pen to draw my grid, as the surgical pencil I had originally ordered with my lipovela worked like shit, but when I went to pinch my fat for one point, my grid would almost completely wipe away. By the second or third time this happened, I just said fuck it and kept my later injections as close as possible to where the points used to be.
2) TIME. I took way too much fucking time trying to be as perfect as possible. It is not. that. serious.
BLOAT:
12 hours in: So fucking minor.
I look like I might've eaten fries that had just a bit too much salt. It is impossible to notice.
REGRETS: I genuinely just regret not doing more. ROI is ridiculous; this shit doesn't have me hiding in my room for a week waiting to stop looking like a chipmunk, and it's cheap as fuck.
Overall, I can't wait to run this shit back with double the amount.
If anyone can provide tips for a more efficient injection technique, I would be grateful to hear them.
