I use it more like a concealer under eyes, I don't try to add a missing volume with it, just for hiding darker skin and small wrinkles.

Gave up after 1st try because of the way it felt on my skin, didn't like it. Also I started growing a beard to cover up my acne scars

I experimented after my beardline showed up , it didn't hide it completely before but if you shave with a safety razor(closer to skin) and then use it for the beard shadow,it mogs

You do a gradient - from more cream to less and less and smooth the edges well.

That will be the fault of the specific product, there are many shitty ones out there that feel heavy on the skin. It takes a few attempts to find the one that suits your specific skin type. The more expensive ones are not always better than the cheaper products

Pull your skin back and Shave towards the grain not against and yeah that green-grey shadow is beard shadow
