First week back in the trades complete

Welp, 3 years later after flaming out from my first attempt, here I am a first week apprentice again

Shit overall ain’t been too bad so far. Weathers great in my area rn, and I’m working most of the day inside too with aircon regardless. Crew I’m with is chill and the jobsite has good amenities

Took a substantial pay cut from my previous warehouse gig, but there’s plenty of OT to go around on this site so I’m actually pulling in more than the previous year. And it’s only a matter of time before those pay raises start hitting

Ironically I’m helping build out our collective irrelevancy - auxillary power rooms for a new wing of a massive ai data center. Oh well

Good thing about construction is taking time off is pretty trivial, so once I hit my 50-60k savings goal at some nebulous point in the coming year or two, I can take as much time off as I need to recover from Giant’s OBO + implants

It’s over, but it also just kinda sorta began buddy boyos. Here’s to all my fellow wageslaves out there
