Don’t EVER listen to any surgeon who says your jaw(s) needs to be moved back! Not only is this a death sentence aesthetically, but it is functionally as well! The further back and smaller your jaw projection is, the worse your airways are. Guaranteed. Almost every single person with jaw issues needs one or both jaws advanced. The only time you’d need a jaw moved back is if you had a legit freakishly big mandible, which is honestly so fucking rare that it’s a complete outlier situation. 99% of cases this “big mandible” isn’t big or forward at all; it only appears that way because the maxilla is so fucking recessed.

do you know if there is any alternative to maxillary downraft? like some extender or sth to pull it at least down
