I always knew it’s easier to lean down without carbs, but it rapes mood sleep quality and libido if you don’t have 40 percent of your macros from carbs . But short term ig low carb is the way I’m just too lazy

Your insulin sensitivity depends on your hormones, there’s no way you could keep a lean physique naturally if almost half your calories are carbs

For 10% year around you need like 50 g of carbs not much more

High FFA is the number one cause of insulin resistance and ergo diabetes tho

Ramirez ate mostly carbs he was lean as a stick even before he crack cocaine maxed. Most top level athletes eat a carb heavy diet so do the thinnest athletes of all : marathon runners and swimmers

Idk about the etymology of English term diabetes, but in my mother language the same illness is called “sugar illness”

It’s literally in it’s name what causes it and how yoi can reverse it (by ditching carbs). But people would rather lose their legs to amputation than to go low carb

Yes. It’s called sugar illness because people thought it was from eating too much sugar but it was the other way round, the body could not metabolise the sugar and high levels of it were found in urine, which lead to diabetes patients being high in cortisol ( which raises blood sugar) and FFA.

Well ofc he shouldn’t be eating 10 k calories cos no one here is a top level athlete. But when you look at the diets of top level performers : both in endurance and strength sports , and also in mentally stimulating games like chess ( Anand’s diet is almost entirely carbs) you have to wonder why they all have an affinity for including carbs in their diet.

Most top level athletes do grueling training regimes and need carbs to fuel said grueling training.
Plus guys like Phelps have insane training regiments, ofc he can eat whole pizzas if he has a caloric demand of 10k+ calories
He's on hgh, insulin, testosterone, etc. That's why hes not fat.


When you read stories like this, bodybuilding really is all drugs for the most part.
