i went to an eye care specialist just yesterday because my left eye was getting blurry.im currently almost 17 and doctor said you have a mild lazy eye toward your left side.he told me to start patching but says it is not guaranteed to fix your eyes as you have surpassed the age for effective recovery.he also said that your hypermetropia is too high to recover based on surgical procedures though you can reduce the number.can anyone please guide me with the non surgical procedures as well as surgical procedures to treat my eyes and at least get normal symmetrical eyes if it is possible and will wearing lenses fix the asymmetry and lazy eye?

I have the same problem. Yes using contact lenses solves the problem.

Try soft lenses although I believe they are more expensive.
