Hello guys, I think my skin is a huge failo of mine so I’d do anything to fix.
IMG 1544

Give me tips on what I can do to get better coloring and less inflamation for overall smoother skin. Anything else you can add is great too.

I’m already starting melatonan 2 soon so thats settled.

You have the foundation for ideal coloring overall. Melanotan plus pigments (beta-carotene, lycopene, astaxanthin, etc) will give you better skin coloring, just make sure to not over do it, gingers that are way too tanned just look uncanny. Use minoxidil and dermarolling on your eyebrows to make them thicker, and also dye them darker than your hair. Take care of your lips and ensure they're exfoliated and hydrated.

That's as much as you need for ideal coloring and good contrast as a ginger. ALSO DO NOT TAN IN THE SUN OR TANNING BEDS, SKIN CANCER, COLLAGEN DESTRUCTION, PREMATURE AGING.

FORGOT TO SAY IT, but for improved texture and smoother skin just start using retinoids.

AM: Gentle Cleanser or just water, Vitamin C Serum (optional), Sunscreen
PM: Gentle Cleanser, Retinoid (Retinol, Tretinoin or if you can get prescription just start taking Accutane), Squalane (if you get a lot of drying and skin discomfort, no need for shitty moisturizers with 30 ingredients in clinically irrelevant doses)

Why? Can you elaborate on that

plus pigments (beta-carotene, lycopene, astaxanthin, etc) will give you better skin coloring,
Do I take all of those at the same time or what

I will only tan in the sun after injecting M2 otherwise I avoid it. My family has a history of skin cancer.

Tretinoin gives you that gay glow I’m NOT using that shit. I thought accurate was only for acne? My acne isn’t bad so I’ll avoid it I don’t want those side effects. Retinol is a good idea though, I’ll check it out

I’d say my diet is pretty locked in nutrition wise, which foods should I eat for collagen tho?

Retinoids & texture:
So Tretinoin, Retinol and Accutane are essentially the same category of compounds, they're all "retinoids", they work by increasing the rate at which your skin regenerates itself and reducing oil production, the only difference between Tret and Retinol is strength, basically Retinol has to be "converted" more into usable products for our skin than Tretinoin, which basically means Tretinoin is stronger because it is more easily usable. Accutante differs from those other 2 by the fact that it is an oral retinoid that has more potent effects ALL over your body, plus it doesn't have some of those nasty side effects you get from topical solutions.

Start with Retinol, that's what I did, however I can almost guarantee that at some point or another you're gonna be getting yourself Tretinoin.

Coloring:
So regarding pigments I wouldn't recommend you use all of those together, maybe use beta-carotone and lycopene, both at the same time if you want fast results, astaxanthin is an option, but I don't know too much about it.

Also, you have "ideal" coloring potential as a ginger only because you have greyish blue eyes lol. It is typically said that the ideal coloring for gingers is: blue eyes, dark eyebrows, ginger hair, light/very lightly tan skin, pink lips. This is what's supposed to be ideal for coloring and contrast.

Tanning:
So, tanning in the sun is a stupid idea. You often get uneven and very temporary results, and every time you tan you're literally killing your skin. The sun is basically a mass of hot goo in space firing ionizing and heat radiation at us all the time, the issue with the sun is the ionizing radiation which destroys the structures of your skin (including collagen) and damages the internal composition of the cell (damaging organelles and DNA). All tanning does is, yes make you tanner, but at the cost of significantly aging your skin and increasing the risk of skin cancer significantly.

If you're going to use retinoids to improve your skin (which you should, they're pretty much foundational for clear skin), then you need to avoid the sun even more since retinoids increase sun sensitivity and therefore the damage UV ionizing radiation cases to your skin.

Which retinol strength should I use, 5%?

Really, the strongest you can get, I started out with 1%.
So you’re using tretinoin now? Do you not get the gay shiny look? I really want to avoid that. Which strength are you using.

I’m going on vacation to thailand in june so I could pick up some tretinoin there tbh

I'd say that the "gay shiny" glow you're described is mostly because of the use of too many moisturizing agents. No, my skin is not glowy, it is pretty matte but not dry and pretty even in texture, haven't had a single breakout in like, a couple months at this point, last one was because I nuked my diet during a small family crisis.

Anyway, if cleanse with a very gentle cleanser, use sunscreen, use a retinol or tretinoin, and use something like squalane or beef tallow for moisturizing only at night. Why at night? Your skin doesn't actually need moisturizers since your skin already produces everything it needs by itself, if it gets dry that means your cleanser is too strong, or your diet and hydration are not on point, however when you use tretinoin or squalane your sebum production naturally goes down which causes your skin to lose moisture and dry out more easily hence why we only apply it at night for dryness prevention.

Actual moisturizers, things like hyaluronic acid and others are bullshit that are counterproductive really, they don't help your skin, and if they do, it's a very small solution since the useful compounds in these moisturizers are heavily underdosed (because they try to fit too much into a single product).
