fixing teeth and palate

i have crooked teeth and i have three options to fix my teeth normal braces, invisalign and palate expander
my ortho says normal braces but my palate is a bit narrow and im worried if i get braces i might get chopped should i tell my ortho to get a palate expander ?
what if i fix my dental arch with invisalign or braces
