Coincidentally, the sun and moon are the perfect distances to earth, making them appear the same size. Yet there is no proof. In that sense, our senses are a piece of the puzzle.

Gravity can conveniently not be proven. The size of the earth or sun can not be proven. It is not allowed to go to the South Pole (ice wall).
