Alright this is the last cope for oldcels

Even if you're not flat footed you may be able to gain very slight height gains from some of these exercises but not promised.

Most guys sleep on how much their feet affect height, posture, and overall frame. Flat feet = collapsed arches → shorter stance, bad posture, hunched look. Fixing it won’t magically add 2 inches, but it can stack your body properly and make you look taller, leaner, and more athletic.

1. How Flat Feet Steal Height

  • When your arch collapses, your foot lengthens and lowers = you lose ~0.25–0.75 inches of standing height.
  • Chain reaction: collapsed arches → knees cave in → hips tilt forward → spine compresses → shoulders hunch.
  • That posture loss can make you appear 1–2 inches shorter than your true height.

2. Benefits of Fixing Flat Feet

✅ Regain up to 1/2 inch of true height
✅ Better proportions (longer leg look, straighter frame)
✅ Reduced joint stress (knees/hips/back)

3. How to Fix Flat Feet

a) Strengthen Arches

  • Short Foot Exercise (doming) → grip ground with toes, raise arch without curling toes
  • Toe Yoga → lift big toe while keeping others down, then reverse
  • Calf Raises (barefoot) → push through big toe joint, not outer foot
  • Toe Spreads Actively spread toes apart as far as possible, then relax. Builds small intrinsic foot muscles that hold the arch up

b) Mobility Work

  • Calf & ankle stretches → loosen tight Achilles that pull arch down
  • Foam roll calves & arches → reduce tissue restriction
  • Big Toe Stretch Kneel with toes tucked under, sit back gently. Restores extension in the big toe joint (crucial for arch stability).

c) Supportive Tools

  • Orthotics or insoles (temporary fix)
  • Barefoot shoes (long-term strength fix if used progressively)

4. Posture Stacking for Extra Height

Even if your arches improve, you need to fix posture above them:

Glutes & Core → bridges, planks to fix anterior pelvic tilt

5. Realistic Height Gains

  • Arch correction only: +0.25 to 0.75 inches
  • Arch + posture correction: look +1 to 2 inches taller

Conclusion

Flat feet kill height and posture. Fixing them = easy looksmax. Don’t expect 2 inches of bone growth, but you can reclaim lost height and look taller by standing properly stacked. Combine foot correction + posture training

Also start using barefoot shoes (when alone ofc) and touch grass (no pun intended), sand, mud and regain the strength of foot muscles while going through uneven surfaces, cause well that’s what your feet are designed for - the arch exists just for that from an evolutionary POV.
