A male face doesn't have to have a ton of forward growth in the maxilla.The 'anteface' is something that's very new standard of beauty. Hmm i wonder how it would impact ratios, there's alot to unpack. I can see it affecting convexity angles negatively maybe, may make nose more feminine, but there are so many variables here.

Legit thread, I’ll repeat myself as much as I have to that mandible is way more important than maxilla. Because humans are evolving to have more concave and compact faces so this almost isn’t up for debate. Forwards midface might look better on a screen but put a concave faced mogger in the right lighting and watch how foids react.

Forwards lower maxilla, ANS, philtrum is still important though.

Yes, exactly. The lower maxilla along with the mandible and chin are forwards so the midface looks set back in comparison.

Wrong, atleast regarding upper maxilla. A forward grown upper maxilla usually indicates better bones and more deep set eyes, theyre both masc traits. Now i think a protrusive lower maxilla does look feminine asf if the rest of your face is feminine aswell
