Flynn Effect is bullshit

One of the most prominent ideas in psychometrics is the Flynn Effect. It states that IQ increases with each generation.

However this theory only holds for genuine 3rd world underdeveloped countries. Even then for those countries it wont hold up as they industrialise.

Why do I not believe in the Flyjn effect which has dominated IQ discussions ? This article does a better of describing the situation than I ever could

Go all the way down to Reverse Flynn Effect and read the Dysgenics section. Read it. Its fucking brutal. Developed nations have been selecting against intelligence ever since industrialisation began, heck maybe even before that as medicine developed.

it doesnt say g increases each gen, it says raw scores on iq tests went up, above 3 points per decade across the 20th century, what it means is, the big debate is whether those gains are on g itself (also it wasnt just a third world thing)

also the point of scores being rose faster, is the point of industrialisation

Wait yeah I was wrong, I'll edit my post.

As for real g gains. Those are only seen the 3rd world. Most of the gains in developed countries are not translated in real g gains.
