My uncle is a landlord and some of his tenants are Indian students, he told me one of them ended up getting a 60k salary after a couple years and works remote. That's all I need to say. It's about increasing your odds instead of fighting them. Stop fighting odds you won't beat.

I no longer believe that my career is a battle I can win; my degree is stale and I’ve faced overwhelming rejection even from entry level jobs in the 20k salary range. Too old to re-specialise and can not get any further tuition fees paid regardless. Surgery is literally my only hope to achieve an acceptable life quality and if that fails, at least I’ll have wasted all my money and be able to claim UC.
