I was watching fight club yesterday, when my mum's Korean friend and her daughter (she's unemployed) showed up unannounced, cos they had brought me some food, as they had too much (it was beef ribs so was all good).

Anyway it was fight club, and this foid is like 27 I think so TBF I was surprised she knew it.

I was really shocked and didn't say anything, cos I had no idea why she would think I was crazy, and now I have figured out it's cos my (white) brother in law must have told her (fatter, 30yr old) sister (who recently broke off her engagement) about my therapy.

Sad thing for me is that when I'm in an irl social situation Ill be aware of the fact that I'm being socially awkward in the moment but I just dont posses the social experience of how not to be. I think with me I always had SLIGHT social awkwardness, but it was very mild, almost more like I had no interest in normie discussions.

what changed a few years ago was I became uber defensive, and much more awkward in social situations, because I started to believe what other people thought of me, that I was legit bottom 1% of people look wise, and because 90% of personality is looks, that's why I started to believe no one would have any interest talking to me IRL.

this is definitely the driving reason for one of my panic attacks when I was in a country where no one spoke English lol
