Use the fitzpatrick scale as your guide. Shades will generally come in white, yellow, brown, and dark brown at least as most people will fit into those.

I honestly don’t care about PSL. I’m 6’3 with shoes on, wide framed with a good amount of muscle. Facially I’m average i would say. I look better in artificial lighting, so in places such as the gym. My nasolabiol folds and under eye circles aren’t that visible, so it boosts my attractiveness, it also makes me semi-angular. Look worse in daylight.
