Most girls would be way happier with a cozy looksmatch than a 'situationship/fwb' with a guy that mogs her. But in their teens/early twenties girls are more likely to act on what gives them the most short-term happiness (the better-looking guy).

Projection from my own life and dating:

It's just brutal that while this is all her decision and her finding out what makes her happy, exploring different types of men, different sex, different styles of communication, (good-looking) men with different personalities, or just having fun and living in the moment.

Meanwhile her looksmatch+lifestyle male is largely struggling. Struggling to figure out what he likes due to lack of experience, what we he wants in a relationship and what he has tried and doesn't like. Not meeting enough new women in an intimate way, because he would have to dumpster-dive hard for that; it doesn't feel natural. Living in the moment doesn't involve sex/girls either.

Which is why I think a lot of men end-up as these doormats in shitty LTRs, not knowing any better. My dad was one of those, but I know many men that think the abuse, lack of intimacy, lack of respect, etc. they get from their girl, is just 'normal'. They simply don't know any better due to lack of experience.
