My fear of missing out on key parts of life particularly in youth is very high.

For whatever reason this fomo ends up making me not want to bother doing anything because even when trying, my experience could still be better given different circumstances. Obviously this is a very retarded takeaway on my behalf, and doesn’t make much rational sense.

I often dwell on the thought of what life would be like if I took my exact self as I am now, and moved it to a more ideal location and point in time. Something that drives me nuts is that I’m sure I have the potential to be way more of a good lifer in a different environment.

One of the things that bothers me the most is the “just be first” theory, and any other content that highlights how different connections with people are before time and the world has a chance to take its toll on individuals.

I’m a pretty lucky person with my current stats, I don’t know why I feel so unsatisfied.

That’s what people say but I don’t think it’s true

the majority of people 40 and up seem to have a lingering feeling of regret and bitterness for not living the life they wish they did

It's not FOMO when you live subhuman life

It's called accepting reality

I’m comfortably above average looks wise now, I perceive myself physically in a weird way tho

I have spikes of high confidence as a result of them, but I am also constantly worried in public about showing the best form of myself.

I tend to dwell a lot on my flaws and get quite insecure about them. For example, my right side profile is less ideal than my left, if I’m with someone I’ll feel very uncomfortable if they are on the right side of me. I think I readjust my hair every 5 mins too (wowoww I bet those 2 strands of loose hair will make the world of difference lol)

Correct. Let me rephrase it : That feeling will be less intense the older you get.

I agree. I never got to go to prom or experience most things normal people did. I feel so different and alone, I know I will never be whole always have to keep patching up that whole so I don't sink. Loneliness does get to you. A bunch of BS from my mom who is pissing me off right now, I wish I had a better life but idk man I can't take this shit life anymore.
