I’m 17, 5’7, 125 lbs, but I’m only in tanner stage 3. So basically I’m just a late bloomer. I was wondering should I just eat as much food as possible even if it’s not the most nutritious? Should I eat only Whole Foods but not be getting a lot of calories or should I just be eating everything no matter what?

Rn I’m leaning towards eating everything

Try to balance it
1 kilo of mcdonalds wont help you pretty much

''A few good bricks make a solid house, not a pile of loose stones.''
I'd pick healthy food over processed junk any day of the week.

That’s what I’m thinking
If I only eat good food I won’t eat enough food
chicken breast is really cheap you can get like 500g for 4$ so just eat a lot of that with some integral bread or rice in a day + some nuts every now and then if you want.

Yeah that’s what I’m kind of thinking abt
Like I’m not just gonna eat a bunch of trash and no good food
I’ll eat good food first and then eat lesser quality food to accommodate for the lack of calories

I personally eat some instant ramen with like 5 eggs or more with ham and so on

Healthy and cheap where I am from
Go to a farm if the eggs in grocery store are too expensive

Instant goyslop (soy sauce)

Instant ramen is NOT healthy

Quality over quantity. Just eat healthy and get a lot of protein and carbs. You can get fat from like peanut butter, It also has some great cals.

If you just eat like shit you will: Get acne, have a high fat % and if you don't get the nutrients you could stunt your growth.

Eat only whole foods, lots of meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables and eat a little above maintenance to gain size if desired

How’s is this unrealistic, retartds on here want to ascend by rotting on their bed
1. Work on your spelling
2. Nothing to do with rotting in bed (that doesn’t even make sense)
3. The thing that’s unrealistic is being able to eat only Whole Foods especially while gaining weight while living with ur parents

No need to analyse it deeply 😹 if i can and so can many other people do it, so you’re just being lazy.

Bc I’d rather spend my time on something more beneficial
Yes because eating healthy takes so much time, why do people like you come on here and ask stupid questions when you can’t even change what you put in your mouth for a couple of minutes a day jfl

It costs money that I need to spend on more important things like gas

Surplus on good foods is obviously ideal it’s just good foods are harder to obtain
more cheaper than you think. your typical fast food/takeout will cost more overall

I didn’t make it clear what I meant
I’m talking abt the stuff my mom makes that’s free for me compared to me spending my own money on food when I can js eat what she makes even if it’s a little less nutritious
McDonald’s is usually never going in my body unless I’m out with friends or sum
My main point abt the whole surplus is snacking
Especially “protein” snacks
I’m more tempted to eat artificial protein products and sacrifice the quality

Eat lots of food but Healthy food tho

Yeah obviously that’s best case scenario but that’s why I made this post
That isn’t something I’m gonna be able to do
I’ll have some good food so do I just eat the good food and not have enough calories or do I eat the good food and also eat food that isn’t as nutritious to get the calories and protein and stuff

nutrition bro, micros obviously

It doesn’t cost more money if you have common sense
Are u an idiot
I have a limited amount of money
I spend it on gas and other necessities
I don’t have any money left to spend on food
It doesn’t matter if it’s expensive or not

are u mentally fit. The money you already spend on food, use that money to buy different groceries, not a hard concept at all

When did I say that I buy my own food
I just eat whatever my mom makes bc she’s the one who pays for the food
I can’t afford my own food
And I’ve tried asking her to buy more Whole Foods but she won’t go 100% since it does cost more

if your family stopped buying alcohol, chips and candy you would be able to afford healthy food for the whole family
