As long as you hit your micros its all chemically the same
Just don't eat too many endocrine disruptors
Empty calories refer to the lack of micronutrients and satiety from food such as chips, cookies, etc. If you eat only chips and cookies, but you make sure to hit your macros and consume adequate micronutrients, you will experience similar effects to eating "healthy" food. The only difference I can think of is that you may experience constipation and GI issues, and perhaps a bit more oxidative stress from not consuming beneficial phytochemicals and whatnot.So is "empty calories" not a real thing
