When experiencing diarrhea, it's important to eat foods that are gentle on the stomach and help restore lost fluids and nutrients. The BRAT diet is commonly recommended, which includes:
  1. Bananas: Easy to digest and rich in potassium, bananas help replenish electrolytes lost due to diarrhea.
  2. Rice: White rice is bland and starchy, which can help firm up stool and soothe the digestive system.
  3. Applesauce: Applesauce provides pectin, a type of fiber that can help absorb excess water in the intestines.
  4. Toast: Plain, white toast is low in fiber and easy to digest, making it ideal for settling an upset stomach.
In addition to the BRAT diet, you can also eat:
  • Boiled potatoes: These are bland and help replenish lost nutrients.
  • Clear broths: They help keep you hydrated while providing necessary salts and minerals.
  • Oatmeal: A gentle source of soluble fiber that can help bulk up stool.
  • Plain crackers: These are easy on the stomach and provide carbohydrates for energy.
Be sure to drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration, and avoid foods that can worsen diarrhea, such as dairy, fatty or fried foods, spicy dishes, and caffeine. You can also try medicine nitazoxanide 500 mg to get the rid of diarrhea soon.

Boiled chicken and whitefish.
Lorepamide is great for cutting it too.
