Introduction:
I have been trading for 2+ years now, I have started seeing the money that comes from it recently, in the past 6 months.
Got multiple payouts from different prop firms, flipped accounts from 50$ to 500$, from 100$ to 1000$. The learning curve is very very very slow. If you don’t put in the effort and you aren’t dreaming with this and you don’t go after it every single day, don’t even start.
Warning:
You have to keep in mind that not everyone can be a profitable trader. I really do mean this. I have had multiple people asking me where to start, the conversion rate of those people who asked me where to start, got after it and stopped after a few weeks or months is more than 90%. You WILL burn out and you WILL want to stop. If you stop its over, you will never beat the markets.
If you think you will get rich with trading in sub 1-2 years you are delusional.
Market experience is the single biggest factor after psychology. Psychology is 60%, Market experience is 20% and strategy is 20%.
Courses:
Most of the information you need to learn is available for free online. Let that be youtube, searching for it on forums, free whop’s, discord servers etc.
The only reason you should buy a course or a mentorship is if you want to study very intensively and skip mistakes that your mentor already made, and you have someone to look up to, validate your trades, give you insights on your psychology.
Don’t be a signal bot, that will never benefit you long-term.
Conclusion:
If you want to trade, treat it like college. You pay for it via the losses you make along the way, blown accounts, wasted capital. Don’t rush it, make it your number one priority. If you can’t make this the first thing you think about in the morning, and you dont go to sleep with this, don’t even bother trying.
