Never ever start training neck directly with weights. This is super dangerous. Real warning
Even I after training my neck without weights for 4 months and adding weights I had difficulty and neck pain the day after, never felt that pain before as I neck trained without weights.
Use only small weights. I use only 3 to 4.5 lbs weights at max.
You need to be consistent, mostly everyday, have a day off.
