This is thread is focused on people who think they should go to university, my answer to that is 90% of you is don't
I making this thread, due to the fact it fucking hurts me when I hear people going to some shit no name university, doing a joke course or both. I wouldn't even make this thread if going to University was free and your not wasting your time, but the majority is. At the end of it, you will end up with a with a comically amount of debt, and will never find job.
1. What is it that you want to do?
If it's anything isn't STEM degree then, don't go to university and even when it's come to STEM, even some Bachelor of Science majors may lead to a dead end.
For example; Doing a Bachelor of Science Majoring Food Science will this course will take you nowhere.
2. Don't try to meet other peoples expectations
I know a majority of ethnics are guilty of this, they have parents nagging them to become a lawyer, doctor and engineer.
Pick a pathway your passionate about, and also you have to understand when you move through your adulthood your career pathway will change quite often.
3. If you want to go to University
Your university ranking and which university you go to matters a shit ton
I have heard horror stories so many times, from people telling, "I did computer science at Bikini Bottom University, and I can't get a job" and "I did electrical engineering at hahaha university, and I cannot get a job"
This matters so much, if you cannot get into a good university, then go back and have another think about what you really want to do
I made this thread to warn people about the dangers of university
University can be the best thing that happened to you or the worse thing that happened to you
