You just have to play music that matches with the speed you're currently at, whether its on a treadmill or jogging outside. If you're outside then wear one of those things that tracks your miles per hour or kilometers per hour.
I'll give some examples with the speed at which to listen to them
(And yes my treadmill is dusty and 20 years old cut me some slack)
When I take a little break at speeds 1 mph (1.6 kmh) and 2 mph (3.2 kmh) I will play ww2 march songs and march to the beat.
This is the kind of music I'll play at speed 1 mph (1.6 kmh)
You can synchronize with the beat pretty easily, same with this one I put on at speed 2 mph (3.2 kmh)
Now to the main part of your exercise. Once you crawl up to speed 3 mph (4.8 kmh) or 4 mph (6.4 kmh) you'll wanna play something like this, not too speedy and not too slow unlike the german marches.
(This is merely an example I don't listen to this type of music all the time, its just an occasional guilty pleasure)
For any speed 5 mph (8 kmh)and above I'll put on Doom OST or anything fast paced like this.
