I believe revealing your intentions about any plan makes it more likely to fail. Just some laws of the universe I discovered on my own. Its like saying I will do this and that dissipated your will and energy. Whenever I just kept my mouth shut my desire and motivation to do what I planned was always burining in my chest. When I unpack my heart with words I feel a "release" that makes me feel better, but that is the substitute for a real release that should be had when the deed is done.
