I honestly don’t think it’s worth it and should be avoided since you have so many nerves on your face. But if you really want to do it then I suppose marking each spot and double checking to make sure it’s the correct spot before going in would be the correct method. Of course for the actual fear factor, it’s pretty much the same as sticking a needle anywhere else besides the fact it’s more dangerous in your face. I can’t give any advice on how to specifically get over your fear of injecting your face since I’ve never done it.

Since needles bypass the skin’s protective boundary and whatnot, they trigger a deep sense of lost control that can precipitate panic. Basically, it’s the anticipation of pain that probably scares you.


Obviously other shit like childhood experiences can further condition your nervous systems to associate needles with helplessness, and also make you shit yourself when you see a needle. Personally, I have some childhood trauma of a retarded nurse (it was a woman of course) messing up some shot I needed in middle school and it used to be why I couldn’t even look at needles.

So go ahead and reassure yourself that it’s so small you won’t feel it because it really fucking is. It’ll be in and out your stomach or whatever other subq spot you choose in the matter of seconds. To calm yourself before injecting, get some ice and put it on your injection site for 30-45 seconds, prep the site and needle with an alcohol prep pad, make sure you insert the needle properly and once it’s in you can look away and push down to make sure everything’s injected. After you check to see if everything has been injected, look away again and just take the needle out at whatever pace you feel is comfortable. Now you’re done and it really wasn’t that bad.




Now onto 25g or 27g needles which you’ll probably use for pinning gear unless you’re a fucking monster pinning your ass cheeks with 21g spears.They’re thicker than your 31g needles, but it’s still not that serious. A 25g needle is about 0.5 mm thick, and a 27g is about 0.4 mm. Still extremely small and you still won’t feel it much.

These are designed for intramuscular injections (delts, lats, ass cheeks, quads, etc…), and while you’re not going into fat like with peptides, your muscle can take it as it’s literally built for this.


The trick is still the same, prep like normal, alcohol swab the vial, alcohol swab your glute, delt, lat or quad, and make sure your gear is drawn properly with no air bubbles (preferably with a different smaller gauge needle and transferred over to your higher gauge needle as it’s faster and will help with your nerves since it’ll decrease the amount of time spent before injecting). Ice the injection spot for 30-45 seconds or longer if you want, if you're still worried about pain take a few deep breaths. Go in slowly. Push slow and steady. Don’t panic, don’t rush. Once it’s in, push the plunger, wait a second after it's all in to avoid oil leakback, then pull out again at whatever speed you’re comfortable with. That’s it.





Regardless of what you’ve injected, you’ve made progress and stopped being a pussy. As you continue injecting, it’s going to become a normal event and there’ll be no more fatigue in your head left about it. The trick is still the same, prep like normal, alcohol swab the vial, alcohol swab your glute, delt, lat or quad, and make sure your gear is drawn properly with no air bubbles (preferably with a different smaller gauge needle and transferred over to your higher gauge needle as it’s faster and will help with your nerves since it’ll decrease the amount of time spent before injecting). Ice the injection spot for 30-45 seconds or longer if you want, if you're still worried about pain take a few deep breaths. Go in slowly. Push slow and steady. Don’t panic, don’t rush. Once it’s in, push the plunger, wait a second after it's all in to avoid oil leakback, then pull out again at whatever speed you’re comfortable with. That’s it.





Regardless of what you’ve injected, you’ve made progress and stopped being a pussy. As you continue injecting, it’s going to become a normal event and there’ll be no more fatigue in your head left about it. You’ll get used to it and won’t think about it after a few weeks if you’re pinning something like a test weekly or a few days if you’re pinning something like gh. That’s all, I hope the teenage niggas found some value from this thread because I remember being scared shitless of needles too. Some more advice I’d give is start off with pens if you truly can’t even stand the sight of needles as you won’t be thinking of the syringe going into your skin but instead just a pen. You could also get some numbing cream from your local cvs or drug store if needed.


As a last resort, if you’re truly fucking scared and the options are having your friend pinning you or you not pinning at all then you can do it but make sure they know how to actually pin you and where. Once you get used to having a needle stuck in you, go ahead and try it yourself
