@Lars has said that the forum descended into negativity when we talked personally and I came back to this thought and I think it is very important.
Looksmaxxing and the blackpill, whether you like it or not, are going to go mainstream by 2025, and this site will literally pour in with members, it is OUR job to make this site a positive place. I would even recommend making a separate doomer se
ction just to keep all negativity constrained in one place.
Here are a few reasons why we should take this seriously.
- Reason 1: The things we say here can change lives, for better or for worse. We need to be focusing on the former, not the latter.
- Positives Include @Lars, @ArvidGustavsson, etc.
- Negatives Include @curlyheadjames, @fivefootsix56 (kind of but the person he said he was before was a positive looksmaxxer hoping to get his life together via looksmaxxing and hardcore moneymaxxing, now he's very much... flipped.)
- Reason 2: We want to advance the informal looksmaxxing field of science (for lack of a better term), and not stagnate. My contributions to the BOTB ushered in a new learning era according to others and @Lars, @Zenturio, and other people have been saying I was making the forum good again.
- Reason 3: We don't want to spread negativity to others, make a new ER, and get slammed by affiliation. Self-explanatory. We also don't want "looksmaxxing" to be associated with incels, for PR. If we scale this site more in quantities, the chances of someone going ER will increase exponentially.
- Solution 1: Make a doomer section on the forum and keep every extreme negative statement like "kill yourself", and "die you (ethnic slur here)" out of the other sections. Anyone who wishes to enter will be warned and they can even hide this section as well from their homepage
- Solution 2: Report people who spread negativity outside of the doomer zone.
