not really, it's a surgery done more times by women than men b/c it ends up better with women. Also scarring with hairline lowering is another issue, only benefits of hairline lowering are its results are immediate and more profound.

Yes , this is the reason. You know if you have forehead reduction and then you suddenly start to recede even further , it will look fucked up with big scar in the middle

I honestly don't get why a lot of people get this surgery... plenty of good looking guys with high hairline. I don't think it matters that much unless your hairline is Walton Goggins death tier high. Even the women who get it don't look dramatically better after.
