Yeah I think it could be underrated procedure honestly, problem is if you have hair loss ur scar will be visible. You can lower by up to 3 cm I think which would be insane to fix facial thirds. The cost I think is too high tho

Haven't seen him here in a while. Probably too busy out there taking creepshots of suspected plastic surgery patients (https://looksmax.org/threads/rate-eppleymaxxer-i-saw-in-the-grocery-store.1812743/).

Hairline lowering surgery (aka forehead reduction) should be recommended first and foremost to men who don't suffer from androgenetic alopecia. In that case, it can be the superior choice over a hair transplant.
That said, a small hair transplant might still be necessary to camouflage the scar and to touch up the temporal transition (from hairline to temporal peaks). This will require a surgeon with advanced artistry, especially if temporal peaks have to be transplanted (more acute angles, finer hair, finer skin). Most good HT surgeons tend to half-ass temporal peaks, so choose yours wisely.

For men suffering from androgenetic alopecia, the frontal third should be stabilized with the usual medication for +/- 5 years prior to proceeding with this surgery. Family history of hair loss should be studied, and any sign of miniaturization that would determine the hairloss pattern should be carefully analyzed.

If you're Black, keep in mind that you're more prone to cheloid/hypertrophic scars, and therefore a hairline lowering surgery might not generate an optimal result on you.
Regardless of your race, scar healing varies from one individual to the other ; expect the scar to be near invisible on some people, and more noticeable on others — thus requiring a touch-up with a HT, see above ; laser treatments might help too.

If done well, it should look very natural, due to preserving original hair density and angulation.
The cost I think is too high tho

Cost is always location-dependent. A quick Google search points at a $8-10K bill in the US. I assume it may cost only half that amount (if even that) in Turkey, South-Korea, Brazil, etc.

Wow bro. I’m out getting wild candids of surgerymaxxers for you guys and I’m rewarded by having my absence made into a joke. Don’t complain when your surgeons jaw implant looks uncanny because you trusted his manipulated before and afters instead of praising me for taking pics of Eppleymaxxers in the grocery store

Ok I have a few questions for you

1) How bad is the scar? It seems like the main concern is the visibility of the scar, to the point that most surgeons refuse to operate on males with even a chance of hair loss that might reveal the scar.

2) Did you experience any shock hair loss at the incision?

3) How many cm reduction did you get?

4) Surgeon?

1.) it’s basically gone now. There was a light scar for a few months but nobody will even notice it since it’ll blend into the hairline.

2.no

3.) I honestly don’t know

4.)Dr. Gal Aharnov

It’s honestly a very painful surgery. Even with painkillers it sucked ass. I’ve gotten lip lift as well, and that was also painful, but it was tolerable with Tylenol.

With this surgery opioids didn’t really help. It was better than nothing but be prepared for a painful recovery.

Yeah I've heard of him he seems to be really good, so you'd recommend him right? How was he?

Really? I thought what you get is basically numbness (which is whatever since who cares about forehead numbness) plus like a little feeling of tightness there.

So your forehead/scar just hurts? For how long?

did he graft in conjunction ? How many grafts ?
Why this over HT for fully customized hairline shape especially at temples ?
How much time after surgery can you link with a girl and she won’t notice it ?

How many cm did your hairline lower ?
Why do you think it made a big difference in your life ? Cuz full head of hair is that mich more attractive ? Cuz toi don’t need to worry about the wind fucking up your hair ?

He was good, if a bit rushed, but expensive. I’m sure that he’s even pricier nowadays it cost me 13k which I honestly think is a little much for a relatively simple surgery, though he is the best at it for sure.

My entire head aside from my face was in pain. You can feel how tight your skin is pressed against it and it’s painful. I’ve heard some reports that it’s mostly numbness. One guy from lookism got this surgery from Aharanov as well, and his experience was the same as mine very painful

No grafts at all. I have 0 males in either side of my family with hair loss. Tbh I have not seen many good results for lowering hairline using a HT.

You can link with a girl as soon as your swelling is down so about 2.5 weeks.

Forehead is a major failo if it’s too huge. It basically nukes your facial harmony. My forehead was massive both on the sides and top, and it basically ruined my face.

Covering your forehead with hair a MASSIVE cope. Hairstyles that cover your forehead all look like shit, and people will still be able to tell because there will be spaces in every haircut where your forehead is visible, giving a “combover” look.

Additionally, you miss out on the chance to make your hair into a halo. If you have no hair loss, that blessing essentially goes to waste since you need to constantly compensate for your forehead using shitty bangs. I never once got complimented on my hair before surgery, but I often do now.

I’m white

Surprisingly no…Nobody called me out. One person had told me I looked “very different” after the surgery but she couldn’t figure out what it was, asking if I had lost weight or dyed my hair or gotten a tan because she couldn’t put her finger on the difference.

In terms of attention for women, it honestly skyrocketed. I remember the first night I went out for a walk post recovery, I passed some restaurant and some above average Indian girl was looking at me. I looked back and held eye contact, and she started banging on the windows and waving enthusiastically at me. The first night I went out post surgery I brought home a girl for the first time. In general, the quality and quantity of women who gave me attention drastically improved for sure. I realize some of this may unironically come from confidence, but the difference was too profound to be simply that alone.

Yes I would get it again without a doubt. In fact, I am actually considering getting it a second time as Dr. Aharnov roundly wanted to give me a Zayn hairline, but I pussied out and thought that was too extreme. I think that would have been a better result

Ok few more questions

How long did the pain and/or numbness last?

Besides just bringing the hairline down, did you see any effect on bringing your temples closer/reducing the width? Or was that not an issue for you in the first place?

If you work out, how soon after could you return to the gym?

Did you notice your hairline at the back also go up? I mean since they pull the whole scalp I wonder if your hairline comes down 2 cm at the front then possibly it should go up 2 cm at the back. Or no such issue?

Wait you can move the hairline on the Y axis and also X axis ?
Like you can make it go down but also closer and reduce the temple width ?

Nice. I think not having hair loss risks is the key factor. For example do you think he would’ve performed on you if you dad was bald ?

Also yes hair is life and everything else is a cope. And beautiful hair is a huge hallo when you have other masculine features.

Can I PM you ?

its an overall safe and effective surgery, the scar will fade and will not be noticeable. how natural it looks depends on your surgeon but most results I see dont look incredibly uncanny or botched

No usually you can't you can only get meaningful change vertically but I wanted to confirm with him. I think you then do a few grafts for the temples, in addition to a few at the front to cover the scar if it's needed.

Nope. You absolutely can move the forehead on the x axis. The difference was significant for me. As I had mentioned earlier, Dr. Aharonov wanted to give me a Zayn hairline and move my temples even further in but I wussed out.

Nice, good to hear

I assume it was under general anesthesia? Do you know if he offers local with sedation?

And what was his waiting list for surgery when you got it?

I answered your first question above as well, yes you can move the temples inward a significant amount.

I got back in the gym about 1.5 weeks after surgery. I was still in pain at the time tbh but I was 4 years younger and had way more time on my hands and it was easier to just tough it out.

I didn’t notice anything regarding my hairline in the back. Any difference probably won’t be noticed by anyone

It was done under local with sedation. He described it the same way as getting your tooth pulled but stronger. Dude was just talking to me about shit and then a split second later I woke up with a new forehead lol.

same tbh just added ru and the entire area ive been applying it to have been shedding like crazy hopefully it'll get before in the next 6 months but a forehead reduction and then a hairline transplant to thicken up everything sounds like lifefuel

If you get a forehead reduction and then bald there, you need a hair transplant to cover the scar. And then the issue becomes you have an island of hair (hair at the hairline but not behind it). However the island thing is obviously an issue that could and does happen to men even without the scar, it is a common known problem with just regular hair transplants too. So I wonder what difference the scar even makes and why surgeons are so reluctant to perform it on men with male pattern baldness.

i mean ive been stable on 0.5 dut but i just hopped on 2.5 mg and ive been on 2.5 mg oral min and just started ru with all of that im hoping i won't bald. My hair has been stable for 2.5 years though. I mean my plan is to bring the hair thats thicker down and have them get rid of the thinner band of hair that I wasn't able to save before I hopped on and thicken up the entire area with an ht. It'll take 3k grafts MAX but doing that instead of just getting an ht and thickening up the thinner area aswell would save more grafts and look better. Ik it sounds confusing but thats my plan so far.
